Over Thinking:
Someone once said that:
“The biggest disease of the mind
is over-thinking, especially thinking too much about others. Thinking too much
is like eating too much. The heaviness makes it impossible to remain light and
flexible” – Author Unknown.
My questions now are:
-
Do you think that over-thinking is a disease?
-
Is it good to think too much about others?
-
Is there a measure of how far/deep you should
think about someone/others?
-
Can over-thinking be compared to eating too much
or gluttony?
What are your candid opinion(s) or views?
To me, overthinking is truly a disease. Thinking too much about others is not healthy at all because one gets unecessarily worked up.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the number of people in the World that are guilty of "over thinking", many of whom fall into the category of people who think about others who don't even know that they exist.
DeleteThat's much like someone troubling themselves about someone else, who unfortunately, doesn't even know where they live or if they existed (in extreme circumstances).
